ABOUT US
A.A.Blatch is a third-generation family business established by Allan A. Blatch (Sr.) in 1952. We supply bearings, automotive, agricultural and industrial products. We are major suppliers of bearings and filters in central west NSW. We’re currently seeking applications to join our team in a sales role. We’re happy to adapt the role to the right person so we’re open to hearing from candidates of varying experience. In accordance with the Vehicle Manufacturing, Repair, Services and Retail Award, the suitable candidate should fall into one of these categories:
- Level 3: Store person (first 12 months experience)
- Level 4: Automotive Parts Salesperson (Other)
- Level 5: Automotive Parts Salesperson (Experienced)
- Level 6: Spare Parts Interpreter (Specialist)
ABOUT YOU
- You must be passionate about customer service, have an excellent attitude and personal presentation.
- You must be highly organised and be able to juggle various projects.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a moderate level computer literacy and high level numeracy.
- Experience in mechanical or machining trade background, or experience in parts sales would be highly advantageous but nonessential.
- A current driver’s license is a must.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- This is an in-store, counter-based role with occasional deliveries or customer visits.
- We require someone passionate about improving their skills as well as our business; including stock control, budgets, administration, automated ordering, initiating sales, house-keeping etc.
- This role would be suitable for someone who wants to achieve career growth and expand their role and responsibility in time.
- This position would be a minimum of Monday-Friday 8-5 with the addition of rostered Saturday mornings.
- Occasional after hours call-outs would be required.
- Above Award remuneration is offered commensurate with experience.
